  • You can spend 10 minutes or 1-2 hours as you wish to review and rate other applicants.
  • If you enjoy it, go ahead and rate a lot of people. It is interesting reading!
  • Please do not rate yourself. Just skip yourself.

  • Log out of QuickBase if you already have a QuickBase account.
  • You will use a special QuickBase login for Recruit Ratings.
  • Log into our QuickBase application at https://lifebushido.quickbase.com.
  • For login choose
    • Username: qbviewrecruit@lifebushido.com
    • Password: lifebushido777
  • You should then see a choice of Applications.
  • Choose: People Working with Lifebushido by clicking on the tab or the application.
  • If you get any error message about permissions, just click Home button on upper left and you should see menu.
  • On menu of reports choose the one called “New Candidates: Recruit Rating with Resume”: https://lifebushido.quickbase.com/db/bbc26uhd3?a=q&qid=18
  • You are going to review people and then Rate them on scale of 1-5.
  • 1 is lowest and 5 is best.
  • You will either do the Recruit Rating A, Recruit Rating B, or Recruit Rating C column. Only add a rating to one column.
  • If it is a duplicate person, just skip the duplicate. If there is no resume, just skip the rating.
  • Update the Recruit Rating A, B or C rating field with your rating of 1-5, with 5 being best, based on information you see on screen for each person.
    • Ratings:
      1 - do not hire bad stuff
      2 - do not hire
      3 - maybe hire
      4 - hire yes
      5 - hire - great recruit!!
      Try not to recommend more than 10-20% for hiring with a 4-5 rating.
  • Do not rate yourself.
  • Do not rate anyone else you recognize from other Recruits, Lifebushido Triangles, or anyone you know.
  • Only rate from one column - A, B, or C.
  • If everyone from your column has already been rated, please email Steve and tell him which column (A, B, or C) and that everything is rated and he will add more people for you to rate.
  • You should spend only 1-3 minutes per person to review resume and information and rate.
  • Once you review a resume, return to the report with First Names and the application information, choose Grid Edit at upper right to edit like a spreadsheet and add the rating.
  • Once you are done choose Save.
  • Have fun!
  • The easiest way is to type in a number and click into next open spot below.
  • No need to use a mouse.
  • We suggest you rate at least 10 at time to get balanced view of people.
  • When done, please email Steve Kantor at steve.kantor@gmail.com and tell me how many minutes you spent and about how many people you think you rated.

Help rate and review Lifebushido Recruits - Resume - Optional

Lifebushido believes Anything is Possible.

We believe it is possible to have Recruits who have applied for a job with Lifebushido to review and rate other Recruits to help select the best possible people to join Lifebushido. This has been happening for over 10 years since we started in 2006. We believe that no other company in the USA does something this unusual. It works!

This method is called crowdsourcing and we have multiple people review and rate recruits to then average out and compare to our internal interview results.

You have passed a few stages of the Lifebushido Application Steps and are already likely among the top 20% of candidates.


This is a test to see if you may have leadership potential and how you evaluate other recruits who you may end up working with in the future.

We invite you to review Recruits by resume and rate.
We recommend you review a minimum of 20, but if you enjoy it and feel you are good at it, you are welcome to do more.

This is optional and not required. Only do this if you find it interesting, you are curious, and you want to help Lifebushido choose the best possible people. If you are not interested in doing this step, just reply to me and tell me.
